About Us

At Aldersgate, we believe that God is not only the creator of the universe, but also makes Himself available to us through a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that God, if we let Him, will come into and shape our lives according to His purpose, healing and restoring us in the process.

 

We believe that Jesus didn't come to make a bunch of "religious" people who focus on nothing but following all the right rules. The Biblical books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all record numerous times when Jesus railed against these kinds of people. Rather, we believe that Jesus came to offer us a restoring and transforming relationship with God, meeting us wherever we are.

 

We believe that the desire of each and every person is to be fully known - including our hang ups, our failures, and those other parts of us that we wish weren't there - and fully loved in spite of being fully known.

 

We invite you to come and join us every Sunday at 10:15 for worship, or to stop by during the week. There's no dress code - you'll find people here wearing everything from shorts and sandals to people wearing a suit and tie, and no requirement to think that you "have it all together" - none of us do.
